Wyatt Garrett put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April of 2024 on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.

Garrett's strong effort led Wesson over Port Gibson and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
