Cloverdale kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as White River Valley only managed seven hits.
Meanwhile, Terre Haute South Vigo came up short against Evansville North on Saturday and fell 5-2. That's two games in a row now that the Braves have lost by exactly three runs.
Terre Haute South Vigo also got a good showing from Jackson Stewart, who tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
Cloverdale's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Terre Haute South Vigo, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
