Softball Recap: Globe Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Globe waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the ALA - Anthem South Titans by a score of 10-7. With that win, the Tigers brought their scoring average up to 6.1 runs per game.

Zoey Tulk made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off one hit. Tulk was also big at the plate, going 1-for-5 with three runs and one stolen base.

In other batting news, Erlynda Horta was excellent, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2025. Another player making a difference was Madison Leverance, who went 1-for-4 with four RBI.

Globe hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive matchups.

Globe's record is now 5-2. As for ALA - Anthem South, their defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-3.

Globe wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 13-6 loss against Blue Ridge on the 9th. As for ALA - Anthem South, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 19-1 victory against Apache Junction on the 9th.
