Basketball Recap: First Baptist Academy's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

First Baptist Academy can bid farewell to their 11-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the White Academy Knights as the First Baptist Academy Eagles made off with a 44-24 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Eagles have posted since February 2, 2024.

First Baptist Academy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-10. As for White Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. First Baptist Academy will square off against Clayton-Bradley Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. First Baptist Academy is facing Clayton-Bradley Academy at the right time seeing as Clayton-Bradley Academy is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for White Academy, they will take on Concord Christian on Thursday. Concord Christian will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something White Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
