 The  victory was  the third in a row for Cherokee, bringing their record for this year to 26-17. As for Covenant Christian, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost ten of their last 13 games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 8-17 record  this season.
 Cherokee will take on Waterloo at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Waterloo is coming into the  match with five straight  wins on the road,  so Cherokee will have to stop a  squad with plenty of momentum. As for Covenant Christian, they will take on Cherokee at 2:00  p.m.  on Saturday. One thing working in Cherokee's favor is that they have posted big  run totals  in their last three matchups.
