The Houston County Bears scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 79-38 victory over Tift County. The team's offensive explosion also rewarded Houston County with their most commanding win of the season.
Malachi Jackson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points. Another player making a difference was Malik Gillespie, who scored nine points.
Tift County lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kaden Lawson, who scored seven points. Cordell Nelson was another key contributor, scoring four points.
Houston County is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season. As for Tift County, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-12.
