After only two runs in their last game, Leipsic made sure to put some runs up on the board against Patrick Henry on Friday. The Vikings blew past the Patriots 12-6. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won seven contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Avery Paris, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Tommy Offenbacher was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Leipsic's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-9. As for Patrick Henry, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Leipsic will square off against McComb at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight. As for Patrick Henry, they will take on Swanton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
