The Bendle Tigers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They claimed a resounding 85-51 win over Genesee on the road. Bendle has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 20 points or more this season.
Elijah Boyd continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 22 points and 5 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Malis Firman was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with eight assists and two steals.
Despite the loss, Genesee had strong showings from Aiden Croak, who scored 17 points along with nine rebounds and seven blocks, and Conner Rouse, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds. That was a full 43.1% of Genesee's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Q Bannoura, who scored six points.
The win (which was Bendle's third in a row) raised their record to 9-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.7 points per game. As for Genesee, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-8.

As for Genesee, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Deckerville at 7:00 p.m. Deckerville is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
