In what's become a running theme this season, the Dutch Fork Silver Foxes gave their fans yet another huge  win on Tuesday. They breezed by River Bluff on the road  to the tune of  72-26. The  win was nothing new for Dutch Fork as they're now sitting on seven straight.
  Michaela Fairwell was  her usual excellent self,  scoring 22 points along with eight  rebounds and seven  steals. She has been hot recently, having posted five or more  steals the last seven times she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Trinity Crumlin, who  scored ten points along with six  rebounds and four  steals.
 Several Gators players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Chaelyn Tifre, who  scored four points along with two  steals.
 River Bluff  struggled to work together and  finished the game with only three  assists. They are 1-4 when  they just don't pass the ball.
 Dutch Fork has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 12 of their last 13 matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record  this season. As for River Bluff, their loss was  their fifth straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 7-16.
 Dutch Fork will head out on the road to  take on  Lexington at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Dutch Fork knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully Lexington likes a good challenge. As for River Bluff, they will look to defend their home court  on Thursday against Chapin at 6:00  p.m. Hopefully Chapin focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 18 on Tuesday.
