East was led to victory by Ta'John Royster, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Royster rushed for 158 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.9 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
The win (which was East's sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-1. Royster and East will take on Centennial at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Linden-McKinley's win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-3. Brock and Linden-McKinley will head out to challenge Mifflin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
