It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Legacy Charter Eagles can now relate to. They took a 42-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Storm. Legacy Charter was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Victory Christian Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2022.
Legacy Charter's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ashlyn Kraus, who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mallory Daniels, who scored 12 points along with five steals.
Victory Christian Academy was led to victory by Bianca Barroso and Jenna West. Barroso scored ten points along with five assists, while West scored 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points West has scored all season. Elsie Hess was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five rebounds.
Legacy Charter's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Victory Christian Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-7.
Legacy Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Victory Christian Academy, they will face off against City of Life Christian Academy at TBD on Friday. Hopefully City of Life Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 on Wednesday.
