Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Oceanside). They skirted past the Clairemont Chieftains 9-8. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Pirates as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Drew Larsen was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one triple. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Narcy, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 3-for-3.
