Even though they lost, Fernley was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 446 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
Spring Creek found their leader in sophomore Mccoy Mcartor, who rushed for 203 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. Those 203 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Mcartor.
Fernley now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Spring Creek, their record is now an identical 5-6.
Fernley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Spring Creek has already played their next game, a 49-7 loss against Truckee on the 9th.
