University School of Jackson and The Webb School squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but University School of Jackson had to settle for second. They took a 64-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of The Webb School Feet. The Bruins' loss signaled the end of their 12-game winning streak.

Daria Biriuk was her usual excellent self, going 10-for-20 en route to 26 points for The Webb School. Biriuk is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last seven games she's played. Sophie Mcinturff was another key player, putting up 12 points.

University School of Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 24-4. As for The Webb School, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 23 of their last 24 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-7 record this season.
