The Kaiser Cats will head out on the road to face off against the Rim of the World Fighting Scots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Kaiser is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
Kaiser can now show off three landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They blew past Rialto 36-6 on the road. Given Kaiser's advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 342nd, while Rialto is ranked 822nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Kiyel Tyler continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 99 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. Tyler hasn't dropped below two rushing touchdowns for three straight games. Terrell Holmes-Guerrero was in the mix as well, providing Kaiser with two touchdowns.
Rim of the World fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Carter on Friday and snuck past 20-17.
Rim of the World can attribute much of their success to Christian Granger, who rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown.
Their wins bumped Kaiser to 6-3 and Rim of the World to 4-5.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's matchup: Kaiser has been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 365.6 total yards per game. It's a different story for Rim of the World, though, as they've been averaging only 244.6 per game. Will Kaiser be able to march up the field at their leisure again, or will Rim of the World flip the ?
Kaiser beat Rim of the World 21-14 in their previous matchup back in October of 2022. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Rim of the World's Tyler Granger, who rushed for 95 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. Now that he won't be playing on Friday, will it be that much easier for Kaiser to walk away with another win? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
