Basketball Recap: Terry Skates Past Jim Hill with Ease

Terry waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Jim Hill Tigers 54-19. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 23 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Terry to victory, but perhaps none more so than Madison Jones, who dropped a triple-double on 13 points, 14 boards, and 12 blocks. The dominant performance also gave Jones a new career-high in assists (two). Another player making a difference was Zion Nelson, who went 6 of 11 en route to 13 points along with five rebounds and five steals.

Terry was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Terry has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.9 points per game. As for Jim Hill, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-5.

Terry will venture away from home to challenge Pearl River Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jim Hill, they will take on West Jones at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
