Several Pirates players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Rhett Britt, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Britt has been hot recently, having posted ten or more boards the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Duron Vaughn, who posted eight points and 11 rebounds.
Ashley had a senior duo take command as Nate Jarrell scored 22 points and Quinn Bentley had 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryson Kegley, who earned five points and five boards.
