The Freeburg Midgets's three-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They walked away with a 56-49 victory over Gibault Catholic. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Freeburg also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Cole Stuart continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 26 points. The game was his third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Bryson Browning, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Freeburg's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Gibault Catholic, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Freeburg will take on Roxana at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gibault Catholic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Routt Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
