A Season-Best Effort from Brandon Brown Jr Leads Shoemaker over Bryan
On Friday, Shoemaker got the W thanks in part to Brandon Brown Jr playing the best football he has all season. Brown Jr rushed for 133 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also picked up 57 receiving yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
On the season, Brown Jr has averaged 57.5 receiving yards per game.

Trishstin Glass Makes It Two for Copperas Cove
The second Copperas Cove player making an appearance here is Trishstin Glass, and for good reason. He picked up 177 receiving yards and two touchdowns. His receiving production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 124 receiving yards dating back to last season.
Harker Heights's probably not too fond of Glass given he always seems to get the better of them. When Glass last faced the Knights back in October of 2023, he picked up 167 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Champ Mayo Delivers Electric Performance Vs Killeen
Rounding off our Top Five is Champ Mayo of Temple. Mayo threw for 280 yards and two touchdowns while completing 90% of his passes.
Temple pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Mayo and Temple will square off against Bryan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
