The Front Range Christian Falcons will take on the Liberty Common Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Front Range Christian is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Monday. They put the hurt on Kiowa with a sharp 11-1 victory. The win continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won four in a row.
Haedan Morton made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. Morton was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one double.
In other batting news, Max Morton and Noah Angel did most of the damage at the plate: Max got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Angel went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most runs Morton has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Everett Hurley, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run.
The home team had won the previous three meetings between Liberty Common and Lyons, and Liberty Common kept the tradition alive. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 15-3 margin over the Lions on Thursday. The Eagles not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 27, 2025 (when they won 25-0).
Like Front Range Christian, Liberty Common also got a great game from a two-way player: Roman Galindo. He struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Galindo was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Raphael McDanald, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Bryson Weibler was another key player, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.
Liberty Common always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lyons only posted an OBP of .333.
Front Range Christian couldn't quite finish off Liberty Common in their previous meeting back in March of 2025 and fell 4-2. Will the Falcons have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other baseball content.
