After flying high against the Lake Taylor Titans on Wednesday, the Norview Pilots came back down to earth. Norview fell just short of Manor by a score of 47-44. Norview was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Manor apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.
Several Pilots players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kiyah Fitchett, who scored 16 points along with 6 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Leyla Minor, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Norview's loss dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Manor, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Norview will head out on the road to face off against Oxon Hill at 7:20 p.m. on Friday. As for Manor, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ocean Lakes at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
