Pacific Lutheran (Torrance, Calif.) jumped out to an early lead against Animo Robinson (Los Angeles, Calif.) and never looked back on the way to a 74-24 victory on Saturday.
The Stingrays scored 22 points in the first quarter. Pacific Lutheran scored on a touchdown run, a rushing touchdown and a touchdown run.
After taking the lead on a two-point conversion in the first quarter, PL led 46-24 at the half.
The Torrance school expanded its lead to 44 points entering the fourth quarter. The Stingrays scored five times in the third, including once on a rushing touchdown.
The win brought Pacific Lutheran's winning streak to three games. The loss was the third in a row for the Monarchs.
