Softball Recap: Bradley Wins Going Away Against Bearden

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bears on Tuesday. Bradley were the clear victors by a 19-4 margin over Bearden. Considering Bradley has won seven games by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Bradley's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-5. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Bearden, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bradley will square off against Trinity Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Bearden, they will head out to take on Strong at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bears are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
