Panhandle has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Boys Ranch Roughriders at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Panhandle is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Boys Ranch in Texas (Panhandle is ranked 164th, while Boys Ranch is ranked 824th).
Panhandle suffered their biggest loss since November 21, 2023 on Tuesday. They suffered a rough 51-31 loss at the hands of Farwell.
Meanwhile, Boys Ranch came up short against Vega on Tuesday and fell 51-40.
Panhandle's loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-6. As for Boys Ranch, they dropped their record down to 9-12 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Everything came up roses for Panhandle against Boys Ranch when the teams last played on January 9th as the squad secured a 78-23 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Panhandle since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
