Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Andover). They blew past the Lawrence Lancers 56-8 on Friday. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 49-8.
Kyle Olson was his usual excellent self, throwing for 121 yards and three touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes, and also rushing for 45 yards and one TD. Marcus Dejesus was another key player, rushing for 31 yards and a pair of scores.
Andover's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB six times. Leading the way was Jackson Fuller with 2.5 sacks. Andover received some extra help from Daniel Guinee, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
