Basketball Recap: Hannah Owen's Big Game Can't Quite Lead All Saints Episcopal School over Crane

All Saints Episcopal School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 46-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crane Cranes. The Patriots were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cranes from their previous meeting back in November of 2023.

Several Patriots players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Hannah Owen, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 boards. The dominant performance gave Owen a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Lauren Brashear, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.

All Saints Episcopal School's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Crane, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-6.

All Saints Episcopal School wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 50-32 defeat against O'Donnell on the 7th. As for Crane, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 47-28 loss against Forsan on the 7th.
