After flying high against the Lead-Deadwood Golddiggers last Tuesday, the Spearfish Spartans came back down to earth. Spearfish fell 59-50 to the Tigers on Friday. Spearfish has not had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
When it comes to explaining why Spearfish lost, one person who can't be blamed is Dylon Doren. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamren Davis, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds.
Spearfish's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Huron, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.
