The Zephyrhills Bulldogs posted their biggest victory yet this season on Friday. They breezed by Pasco on the road to the tune of 61-21. Given Zephyrhills' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 317th, while Pasco is ranked 640th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Despite the loss, Pasco still got an impressive performance from Mason Pippin, who scored three points.
The win got Zephyrhills back to even at 9-9. As for Pasco, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-11.
Zephyrhills on the road again on Tuesday and play against Lake Minneola at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Hopefully Lake Minneola focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Friday. As for Pasco, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Weeki Wachee at 7:30 p.m. on January 22nd. Weeki Wachee is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
