Volleyball Recap: Thursday's Win Is Carthage's Third in Last Four Outings

Carthage won the last time they faced Central, and Ada Roughton did her part to make sure it happened again. The Tigers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Bulldogs on Thursday with plenty of help from Roughton, who had 11 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

In the three sets Carthage was on fire: they won each by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 22-25, 25-15, 25-13.

Carthage is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That lines up perfectly with their 4-1-1 record this season.

Carthage will host Glendale at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against Joplin at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
