The Stall Warriors were the 50-37 winner over the Fort Dorchester Patriots when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Stall took a 45-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots on Friday. Stall has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Stall lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Logan Collins, who scored six points along with 12 rebounds and two steals. Makayla Waiters was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Kai Mack was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 16 rebounds for Fort Dorchester. Mack is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Saniyah Joyner, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds.
Stall's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Fort Dorchester, the victory got them back to even at 11-11.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stall will challenge the Green Wave at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fort Dorchester, they will head out on the road to take on the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Ashley is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.
