It was a good run, but Bishop Brossart unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They had to suffer through a 71-36 loss at the hands of the George Rogers Clark Cardinals. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 25th, while the Cardinals are ranked second).

Bishop Brossart's defeat dropped their record down to 26-8. As for George Rogers Clark, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 22 of their last 24 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-7 record this season.

Bishop Brossart does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for George Rogers Clark, a feisty cat fight will be fought as George Rogers Clark Cardinals challenge Franklin-Simpson Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Franklin-Simpson will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something George Rogers Clark surely won't give up without a fight.
