North Miami came into Saturday's matchup looking for another win against Triton, but Sierra Hawley wouldn't allow it. The Trojans pulled ahead with a 45-44 photo finish over the Warriors on Saturday with plenty of help from Hawley, who shot 53% from the field to rack up 20 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals. Triton is 3-1 when Hawley posts three or more steals, but 1-2 otherwise.

Another player making a difference was Savannah Hawley, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 11 boards. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 8.3 rebounds per game.

North Miami lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kayden Donaldson, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 12 boards. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Grace Sailors was another key player, dropping a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds.

Triton now has a winning record of 4-3. As for North Miami, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Triton will head out to face off against Manchester at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Miami, they will venture away from home to challenge Pioneer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
