Leading Browne to victory were Adam Chaffin and Desmyn Beavers-smith. Chaffin almost dropped a triple-double on 11 points, 13 rebounds, and nine blocks, while Beavers-smith scored 23 points. The matchup was Beavers-smith's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Bill Bayigamba, who scored five points.
Browne's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Skyline, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.
Browne will be playing at home against Camelback at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Skyline won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Westwood at 7:00 p.m. on January 12th. Westwood is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
