The Arlington Tigers suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They took a serious blow against Bartlett, falling 60-24. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Arlington has scored all season.
Arlington's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was William Turner, who scored seven points.
Arlington has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season. As for Bartlett, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Arlington will face off against Cordova at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Cordova's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. Bartlett will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Southwind at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th. Southwind will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings (they are ranked 44th, while Bartlett is ranked second).
