Despite the defeat, Mill Springs Academy saw an underclassman step up: Hampton Hill scored 24 points. That was a full 50% of Mill Springs Academy's points, marking the eighth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Ryan Frommer was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five rebounds.
LaGrange Academy's loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Mill Springs Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-3.
