Pinecrest Academy made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Johnson Ferry Christian Academy, but still couldn't quite topple them. The Pinecrest Academy Paladins' pitchers stepped up to hand the Johnson Ferry Christian Academy Saints a 10-0 shutout on Thursday. The win was just business as usual for the Paladins, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

The team relied heavily on Liam McCavitt, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Mathew Sime was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Pinecrest Academy's record now sits at 3-0. As for Johnson Ferry Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
