The teams have split their six prior meetings in WCAC title games. DeMatha beat the Falcons, 24-20, last season for their eighth title since 2003. Good Counsel beat DeMatha for the crown four times in a row from 2009-12.
No. 18 DeMatha (10-1) has won four in a row since its Oct. 16 loss to Gonzaga (Washington, D.C.), including a 28-23 win over Good Counsel two weeks ago. Good Counsel (7-4) rallied from an up-and-down regular season to crush Gonzaga in last week's semifinals, 35-12.

Lorenzo Harrison ran for over 100 yards and two touchdowns in just the first half of DeMatha's 42-21 semifinal win over St. John's (Washington, D.C.). The Maryland recruit, along with five-star junior
Anthony McFarland. jr, give the Stags an explosive rushing attack.

Mohamed Ibrahim provides the firepower in Good Counsel's running game. The junior ran for 586 yards and four touchdowns in the last four games.
