The Blount Leopards's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight defeat. They fell 51-41 to Jackson. Blount was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Aggies apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.
Jackson found their leader in underclassman Keeyun Chapman, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. Chapman is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted three or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Micah Caster, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds.
Blount dropped their record down to 7-17 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road. As for Jackson, the win (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 23-2.
Blount does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Jackson also has no future games currently scheduled.
