Tempe has been on the road for two straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Cortez Colts at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Tempe suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They were dealt a 89-52 defeat at the hands of Dysart. Tempe has not had much luck with Dysart recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Tempe got a solid performance out of Nassir Cobbs, who scored 19 points along with two steals. Cobbs is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Alejandro Irizarry-Navarro, who scored nine points.
Meanwhile, Cortez put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They blew past Vista Grande 74-54. The victory was nothing new for Cortez as they're now sitting on three straight.
Tempe has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season. As for Cortez, they now have a winning record of 11-10.
