King George will challenge Spotsylvania on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. The odds don't look promising for King George, but the bigger the opponent is, the harder they fall.
Things haven't been easy for King George, and their matchup last Friday only extended their streak of losses to three. They came up short against Chancellor last Friday, falling 40-48.
Meanwhile, Spotsylvania put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They took the game and then some with a 43-7 win over James Monroe. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 29-0.
Spotsylvania's victory lifted them to 4-3 while King George's defeat dropped them down to 1-7. After the lofty point totals in their previous games, we'll see if they're able to heat things up even more while facing each other.
