On Saturday, West St. John had to suffer through a rough 60-18 loss at the hands of Seven Rivers Christian. West St. John was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-5.
Seven Rivers Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Annalise De beer out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jurisah Bailey, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
West St. John's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Seven Rivers Christian, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West St. John will take on International at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. International comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Seven Rivers Christian and Carrollwood Day will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 12th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
