The Saxony Lutheran Crusaders won the last time they faced the St. Vincent Indians, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Saxony Lutheran snuck past the Indians with a 58-53 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Saxony Lutheran.
Saxony Lutheran's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Luke Eggemeyer, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. Eggemeyer is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last 14 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Owen Bucheit, who scored 17 points.
Saxony Lutheran has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for St. Vincent, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.
