Grafton's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They never let the Gloucester Dukes get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. Considering the Clippers have won five games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Grafton's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Gloucester, they dropped their record down to 3-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Grafton will take on Poquoson at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Clippers 3.6, the Bull Islanders 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Gloucester, they will face off against Essex at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
