That makes it three consecutive games in which Freeman has scored at least a third of Ardrey Kell's points. Meanwhile, Olympic lost to Myers Park at home by a 82-66 margin on Thursday. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Ardrey Kell will need focus on slowing down Randy Johnson, one of several Olympic players who made an impact when they last played. He went 6 of 11 on his way to 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of De'Angelo Hall, who posted 11 points.
Ardrey Kell's win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.5 points per game. As for Olympic, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 12-3.
Keep an eye on the arc in Tuesday's contest: Ardrey Kell has been dynamite from deep this season, having nailed 43% of their three-pointers per game. It's a different story for Olympic, though, as they've only made 29.2% of their three-pointers this season. Given Ardrey Kell's sizable advantage in that area, Olympic will need to find a way to close that gap.
Ardrey Kell took their victory against Olympic when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 66-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ardrey Kell since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
