They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Varsity Opponent 63-34 on the road. With that victory, Propel Andrew Street brought their scoring average up to 50.6 points per game.
Leading Propel Andrew Street to victory were Darryl McCullough and Raymon Russell. McCullough scored 19 points along with eight steals, while Russell dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. Russell has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last six times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Terry, who scored no points along with ten assists and nine steals.
The win was the third in a row for Propel Andrew Street, bringing their record for this year to 6-4. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 34.67 points. As for Varsity Opponent, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost 14 of their last 17 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 246-911-2 record this season.
Propel Andrew Street will be playing at home against Propel Montour at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Propel Montour is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Varsity Opponent, they will head out on the road to face off against Greenacres Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
