Rocky Mountain added to the longest winning streak in 5A Southern Idaho this week by beating Boise, 60-17. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Grizzlies.
Rocky Mountain took down the Braves 60-17 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Borah's dynamic duo of Cole Skinner and Trey Dennis proved tough for Mountain View to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Skinner threw for 331 yards and 2 touchdowns and Dennis had 150 yards receiving. Kion Williams helped Borah's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 66 yards.
The Lions' dynamic duo of Skinner and Dennis proved to be unstoppable against the Mavericks, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Alex Kingmixay was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 112 yards on 5 carries as Capital lost to Mountain View. Tomas Idoeta also contributed to the rushing game with 61 yards on the ground.
He was 23-39 with 3 interceptions.
Skinner put up the best numbers in passing as Darren Corpus' team fell to the Mavericks.
Dennis was the best receiver in the league this week as the Lions fell to Mountain View.
Borah's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Lions feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Skinner has thrown for 777 yards and 8 touchdowns this season, while Williams has 14 catches for 242 yards.
The most important game in 5A Southern Idaho this week will be the match up between Scott Criner's team and the Eagles. The Grizzlies enters the game ranked fourth in the state, while Capital ranks third.
Rocky Mountain led the league in scoring this week after putting up 60 points on Boise.
