It was a good run, but  Limon unfortunately witnessed the end of their  ten-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost  11-4 to the Burlington Cougars. The Badgers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in April of 2024.
 Limon saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Braxten Churchwell, who  went 1-for-3 with one  double and one  RBI. That  double marked the first that  Churchwell  hit this season.  Logan Haflich was another,  going 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases.
Limon's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Burlington,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 4-6.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Limon will square off against Akron at 4:00  p.m.  on  the 24th. As for Burlington, they will challenge Colby at 3:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
