Crowley's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alaysia Arvie, who almost dropped a triple-double on 15 points, 9 rebounds, and 12 steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Arvie has scored at least 25% of Crowley's points. Joe 'Kya Pete was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 10 blocks.
Eunice's loss was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-6. As for Crowley, their victory bumped their record up to 1-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eunice will take on Lake Charles College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lake Charles College Prep presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Eunice in Louisiana (Lake Charles College Prep is ranked 110th, while Eunice is ranked 256th). As for Crowley, they will be playing at home against Hanson Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
