Given their disadvantage in the MaxPreps state rankings, GMG should expect quite the challenge on Friday. They will take on North Tama at home at 7:00 PM. GMG come in off of four low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the squad is obviously eager to reverse.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-63, which was the final score in GMG's tilt against East Buchanan last Friday.
Meanwhile, North Tama had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 34-26 win over Grundy Center. The success made it back-to-back wins for North Tama.
North Tama's victory lifted them to 5-1 while GMG's defeat dropped them down to 1-5. We'll see if North Tama's success rolls on or if GMG are able to steal their positive momentum.
