Fulton County will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Fulton City at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Fulton County had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Gleason 44-0. The team accrued the bulk of their points in the first half (38) and coasted on those for the win.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 14-50, which was the final score in Fulton City's tilt against Gleason last Friday. The loss was a vexing one since Fulton City was expected to win based on their ranking.
Fulton County's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Fulton City's defeat dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Fulton County can add another positive mark to their record or if Fulton City can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Fulton County's step.
